Meeting Schedule

Kiwanis Club of Bloomington meets every Thursday in the Indiana Memorial Union Building on 7th Street on the Indiana University campus.  Check the Daily Activity Boards upon arrival as the room location changes weekly.  Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and buffet is served.  Kiwanis business is conducted preceding weekly programs of interesting and educational speakers followed by a Q & A session.  Meetings adjourn promptly at 1 p.m.  Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the IMU or directly across 7th Street from Ernie Pyle Hall.  Bring your parking stub in for validation. Free for members. Lunch and parking are $15 for guests.

8/3/17 11:30-1pm Indiana Memorial Union-State Room East Kat Rader Guest speaker is Kat Rader, director of Kids Play Gym which offers a safe, enriching, 4500 square foot indoor play experience for all children under 10 and their families that promotes neurological and social growth, coordination, balance and motor skills. 
8/10/17 11:30-1pm Indiana Memorial Union-State Room West Erin Predmore MCUM Each One Feed One Canned Food Drive Kiwanis Kick-Off Event.  There will be an unveiling of a 'can-struction' created from the collection of donated food items.  The collection will then be presented to MCUM Executive Director Erin Predmore. Following the kick-off, many volunteers will collect donations at local supermarkets that weekend.

Richard Lewis  For six years renowned baritone Richard Lewis has produced a free summer concert in Bloomington.  The seventh annual concert is All the World’s a Stage: The Show-within-a-Show in Broadway and Opera, coming August 27 at Fairview Methodist Church.  In addition to Lewis, the show will feature Soprano Anna Singer, mezzo-soprano Hilerie Klein Rensi, tenor Robert Chafin and pianist Michael Borowitz.  A free will offering will benefit Fairview Elementary School’s literacy and Artful Learning programs.  Lewis will discuss the history of the concert, the Fairview Elementary programs and give us a sample of the music
