Founded in 1920, the Kiwanis Club of Bloomington meets every Thursday for lunch in the Indiana Memorial Union Building.

In a program spotlighting live stage theatre in Monroe County, a Kiwanis/Monroe County Community Foundation grant will be presented to Cardinal Managing Director Gabe Gloden for the Cardinal Stage Company’s Education Initiative.  Following will be Brad Schiesser who begins his term as Managing Director of Bloomington Playwrights Project this month.  He’ll highlight the current status and future plans for the organization.

The results from the 2016 Operation: Chili for Children are in! The Kiwanis Club of Bloomington raised $3600 at this event for Visually Impaired Preschool Services, American Legion Auxiliary Hoosier Girls State and Kiwanis Youth Programs! Checks for $1200 each were presented at the Kiwanis Holiday Party on December 1st!
